About Suricata

Know me better!

Welcome to Suricata Design, where creativity meets problem-solving. I’m Eftychia Iliadou, also known as Suricata. With a background in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Graphic Arts and Multimedia from Hellenic Open University, I seamlessly blend methodical problem-solving with a passion for design.

My journey led me from the realm of education to the picturesque island of Andros, where I decided to embark on a new chapter. Embracing the freedom of freelance work, I’ve authored three illustrated books, “Hey! Psst!”, “The Changing Island” and “The Acrobat and the others”, all inspired by islands in Cyclades. In collaboration with diverse agencies and businesses, I’ve tackled a myriad of projects ranging from books, covers, packages, and card games to websites and logos. Notably, my work on the covers of two psychology books earned me recognition with two EBGE awards.

Now residing on Syros with my husband and two kids, my creative spirit is fueled by a love for Saul Bass movie posters and the cinematic genius of Christopher Nolan. Passion drives my work, and each new project is a welcomed challenge, an opportunity to explore innovative techniques. I genuinely love what I do. If you believe I can bring a touch of creativity to your project, I’m just a message away. Let’s collaborate and bring your ideas to life!
