About Suricata

Know me better!

Hey! Psst! My name is Eftychia Iliadou, also known as Suricata. Every day, from dawn till dusk I design and listen to music. Aside from designing, I love watching movies, reading books and tales. My favorite book is “The city and the dogs”, by Mario Vargas Llosa’s and my favorite storyteller-Illustrator is Oliver Jeffers. I find it hard to pick a favorite movie, as I can’t pick a favourite painter-designer or a favorite color. However, I can confidently say that I love the movie posters of Saul Bass.

My studies on informatics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki combined with the skills in painting I had acquired as a child, was the springboard for my involvement in the graphic design field. While working in the field of education I finished a master in graphic design and multimedia and I’ve decided to change the route of my life and evolve.

I moved to Andros island, where I’ve founded my office. I’ve created two illustrated books, “Hey! Psst!” and “The changing island”, inspired by my dog, Kopolas, which are being distributed in selected bookstores. I also collaborate with other agencies and businesses, taking a number of different projects. Contact me if you believe I can help you in any way.
